With headquarters and factory in Maxieira, Parish of Fátima, Municipality of Ourém and District of Santarém, it has a particularity of part of the activity being the Production of Lime in Handcrafted Process, “only active in Portugal”, being a product with unique characteristics and exclusive derived from a process of replacing History, Art, Knowledge and Knowledge, which directly links to very particular markets in the Civil Construction area, namely Restoration, Rehabilitation and Reconstruction of Heritage and Private Works, as well as in applications with past construction techniques that are being used again, as whitewashers, mud, adobe, constructions on Earth, being part of the NATURAL and ECOLOGICAL Construction products, denoting what kind of old buildings are characterized by the environmental quality, public health and needs superior to the buildings with the current modern building materials.

For many years, Cal's activity has been the company's main business, revealing a brand and a product of high importance for its Quality and Distinctive Characteristics, with a prominent feature in the Construction Sector.

Nature offers several types of “limestone” raw materials, with different compositions, through which burning it is possible to obtain CAL, which is later also distinctly called. MAXICAL Produces and Markets the vast majority of CALCITICA CAL or CAL AEREA, being a derivative of Limestone Rocha Rich in Calcium Carbonate, with special absorption in Serra D'Aire and Candeeiros.

Currently, we have available CALs with different characteristics, maintained or with a high degree of quality, allowing their application and use in different ways. The creation of new Partnerships and Commercial Relations with Suppliers, Customers and other market agents, the improvement of product ranges, the availability of products for the most diverse sectors of activity, the monitoring and constant updating for new solutions, from the products bagged “which were and continue to be our main focus” and currently increase and make bulk products available, allied to a whole set of Commercial, Marketing, Monitoring, Support and Proximity tools, today it is a reinforced presence and with greater responsiveness for the various market fronts.
